Phase 2 expansion to the local AIA chapter award-winning Phase 1 project. Program included three separate components: 10,000sf 2-story Upper School classroom extension, 10,000sf Fine Arts addition – with a 100 seat ‘black box’ theater - and a 10,000sf outdoor covered gymnasium. While design elements adhered to original palette of materials, small deviations – the louvered glass curtainwall cube at the new Upper School entry, architectural metal panel cladding at the black box exterior walls and the ‘spider-web’ fencing at the outdoor gym – add another layer to the campus symbolism.
